Is There Something Bad Here, 2014

 

Is isolation a dehumanising destruction of man or a beautiful solitude? To accompany my graduate collection: Scottish Summer 2014, Is There Something Bad Here explores the collections contradictory central themes; isolation and doubles.

 

Shot on 8mm, the film showcases technical aspects from the 1970s such as hand-held motion, zooms, and burns. A shot by shot edit was made on digital, highlighting the remake culture in film, particularly the horror genre.
